The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) recently hosted a panel discussion titled CEI Perspectives: Healthcare Equity for People Who Are Disabled, focusing on the critical issues surrounding healthcare access for individuals with disabilities. Moderated by Allison B. Solomon, ADA Compliance Officer and Executive Director of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Disability Support Services, the event featured insights from Jereme Wilroy, PhD, Director of Research at the Lakeshore Foundation and Associate Professor at UAB Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation; John Roper, CEO of Disability Rights and Resources; and Sara S.
