The CTSA Program Governance and Guidance documents provide descriptions of the structure and operations of the CTSA Program Groups, the roles and responsibilities of the CTSA Steering Committee, and the guidelines for obtaining CCOS support for dissemination of surveys within the CTSA community.

Steering Committee Roles and Responsibilities

Provides a detailed description of the SC membership criteria and nomination process, SC meeting cadence, roles and responsibilities for the SC members including Pod Leadership, Enterprise committee and Working Group oversight activities, planning for Fall CTSA Program meeting, SC task forces, survey review and approval and communication among K PIs, T PIs and Administrators.

Biostatistics, Biomedical Informatics, and Data Science (BIDS) Enterprise Committee (EC) Charter

The BIDS EC Charter, approved on June 9, 2025, outlines the committee’s role in advancing clinical and translational science by fostering collaboration across biostatistics, informatics, epidemiology, and data science. It defines the EC’s responsibilities in providing strategic guidance, supporting cross-hub initiatives, and aligning efforts with CTSA program goals.
