Southern California CTSI Project Inspires Filmmakers to Create Award-Winning Documentary on Getting Vaccinated

Vaccinate Watts, a film co-written and produced by Sean McBride and Michael V. Greene, documents how several institutions have joined together to help underserved communities in Los Angeles gain access to COVID-19 vaccination and prevention resources. The film dives into the nuances of how COVID-19 has affected the daily lives of medical professionals, essential workers, and individuals who have lost loved ones to the disease.  

 

The film producers drew their inspiration from interviews they conducted at University of Southern California (USC) CTSI sponsored health fairs. Ultimately, the awarded film is a testament to the impactful role that storytelling can play in widely promoting a public health message…
