Penn State TSS Series: Intervention Strategies to Address Sleep Health Inequities

Dayna A. Johnson, Ph.D., M.P.H., M.S.W., M.S., will provide an overview of sleep health disparities, with a special emphasis on the intersection of race and socioeconomic status. She will present empirical data supporting psychosocial stressors as determinants of adverse sleep health among historically minoritized populations. Dr. Johnson will conclude with a discussion around intervention strategies to reduce sleep health inequities. 

The Translational Science Seminar (TSS) Series is held monthly. Each month, a panel of speakers present practical information related to clinical and translational topics, with the goal to expose participants to contemporary issues and tools that can accelerate the translation of research to benefit human health.
