Are you an N3C investigator wondering what TEFCA is and how it impacts your work? Join us on September 9, 2024 at 5 p.m. ET for the N3Community Forum, where Kathryn Bingman, Vice President of Interoperability Adoption at eHealth Exchange, will provide a comprehensive overview of TEFCA, including the current status and future developments, as well as implications for access to clinical data. The presentation will be followed by a live Q&A session.
The Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) is an initiative based out of the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health Information Technology that originated after the passing of the 21st Century Cures Act (Cures Act). TEFCA aims to establish governance and infrastructure for streamlined interoperability of health data, facilitating efficient and secure data sharing and access between health care systems, health plans, public health agencies, and patients.
