Study Conducted by Sunsetted Working Group Focuses on the Development of a Tool that Scales Research Study Complexity

A team of researchers that were part of the sunsetted CCOS working group "Clinical Research Workload and Study Complexity Assessment" aimed to develop and establish initial psychometric properties of an instrument that scales research study complexity. The study was published in the Journal of Clinical and Translational Science

 

"This paper presents the development and initial psychometric properties of the RCI, which demonstrates early validity and reliability. While this instrument is still in its initial stages, the potential to assist in study planning, resource allocation, and personnel management is valuable..."
