A study featuring investigators from the University at Buffalo Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, and CTSA (Clinical and Translational Science Award) hubs in South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Alabama was recently awarded a two-year, $2.1 million grant from NCATS (National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences).
The multi-site study will help researchers evaluate the impact of remote versus in-person approaches to clinical trials. Assuming milestones from the first two years are met, the grant will include an additional three years of funding.
