Disability as Difference: Reducing Researcher Roadblocks

Summary

The Einstein and Montefiore Institute for Clinical & Translational Research is looking for participants for their ongoing trial “Disability as Difference: Reducing Researcher Roadblocks”, funded by their UM1 Element E.

This study will measure the effects of a brief one-time eLearning intervention on researcher Knowledge, Attitudes, and Perceptions (KAP) of including people with disabilities (PWDs) in biomedical and behavioral research. Researchers are being recruited from across the Einstein/Montefiore network and other CTSA medical centers.

Eligible participants are research team members (PI, Co-I, Coordinators, Research Associates, etc.) whose current research work is focused on adults, and not specifically focused on disabilities.

Participants are asked to complete an online session (approximately 60 minutes) including review of learning modules and pre/post survey completion. Participants will be compensated (gift card or charitable donation) for their time.
