Clinical Research Methods Short Course

Are you a research scientist or clinical investigator looking to strengthen your skills in clinical research? Join us for the Clinical Research Methods Short Course on December 5th & 12th 2025, from 1:00 – 3:30 pm ET or Noon to 2:30 pm CT via Teams. This introductory course, presented by the Biostatistics Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD) Program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in partnership with the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), will equip you with essential concepts and terminology to foster effective collaboration in health sciences.

 

Topics include medical research study design fundamentals, commonly used statistical tests, data analysis methods, and an overview of the translational science spectrum. You’ll gain practical skills to work with biostatisticians and epidemiologists, accurately interpret results, and understand key stages in translational research.

 

Registration is required by November 28, 2025, and attendance at both sessions is expected.
