Meeting Goals

The goals of this Collaborative Workshop will be to:

  • Establish a plan for developing a framework to embed rigor, reproducibility and transparency in RWD studies
  • Review novel analytical approaches, advanced methods and tools for RWD including methodologies to assess robustness and quantify uncertainty   
  • Discuss exemplary and unsatisfactory case studies and contemporary examples that use RWD and their impact
  • Identify and prioritize challenges in replicability, reproducibility, and assessing generalizability
  • Delineate workforce development needs for impactful RWD studies

Eligibility to Attend

Personnel from CTSA Program hubs that have active grants are encouraged to attend. A CTSA Program hub is defined as a UL1 award with a linked KL2 award and an option TL1 award or a UM1 award. CTSA Program hubs may consist of a single institution or include one or more participating partner institutions. Personnel from partnering institutions are encouraged to participate in the CTSA Program meetings.

 

Please note that the limit for in-person registration is two (2) per hub and there is no remote attendee option.

 

Registration submissions will be reviewed, and attendees will be notified upon selection. This process ensures alignment with the program's engagement focus, prioritizing representative participation from trainees, community members, and non-technical users to foster collaboration, innovation, and varied perspectives.
