CTSA Request for Information (RFI) History: This project was designed to streamline the collection of impact stories from CTSA hubs to demonstrate the Program’s value to stakeholders like Congress and NIH leadership. A secondary goal was to build a searchable database to foster awareness and collaboration across CTSAs. Beginning in Fall 2023, NCATS staff and CTSA Administrators piloted a new, more efficient system—supported by CCOS—to replace the ad hoc process of mining RPPRs and emails. The result: a scalable, user-friendly method to collect outcome-driven narratives—a success story of translational science in itself.&nbsp;Origin of RFI Topics: RFI topics are generated through:<ol style="list-style-type:decimal;"><li>CTSA Program Steering Committee “Crowd Sourced Agenda Topics” – Ideas discussed and identified as valuable for further consortium-wide input and analysis.</li><li>NCATS/DCI Leadership – High-priority topics reviewed with the Steering Committee for feedback.</li></ol>Following NCATS DCI Survey guidance, RFIs are open, voluntary, and reviewed by the CTSA Steering Committee, Program COR, and DCI leadership. The RFI form is a simple open-field template to collect stories and input (see:&nbsp;<a href="https://ccos-cc.ctsa.io/resources/surveys">https://ccos-cc.ctsa.io/resources/surveys</a>). More complex surveys should follow broader CTSA survey guidelines.&nbsp;RFI Results Support:<ul><li>Informing NIH, Congress, and other stakeholders</li><li>Updating NCATS web content</li><li>Cataloging CTSA activities</li><li>Identifying collaboration opportunities across CTSAs</li></ul>
