Well-being Integration

Overview

This working group aimed to develop and share online resources and curricula about well-being, stress management, and physical and emotional health. The goal was to enhance the resilience and well-being of trainees and the wider clinical translational research community. Although COVID-19 prompted the group's creation, it intended to support trainees and the CTSA community in the long term by emphasizing the importance of well-being in sustainable career development.

Develop a Well-being Integration Curriculum for use across the consortium.

Delineate evidence-based best practices and curricular approaches to foster resilience and advance change management skills.

Incorporate accessible well-being scales (e.g. Kristin Neff's Self-Compassion Scale) to the resource bank, offering a dynamic representation of current well-being and a tool to assess well-being before and after a well-being intervention.
