The aim of this working group is to establish and scale a reproducible, collaborative framework for training Clinical Research Professionals (CRPs) across CTSA and CTR hubs. Building on an existing interinstitutional workshop model, the Research Professionals Network (RPN) Workshops, this group is focused on how CRP training is collaboratively designed, delivered, evaluated, and sustained. Through the RPN Workshops Model, the working group will support the development of collaborations among CTSA/CTR hubs. This working group will provide a nationally scalable and sustainable approach for enhancing CRP training, advancing reproducible frameworks across institutions, and strengthening the collaborative and professional development capacities of the clinical research workforce, while reducing duplication and improving efficiency.

Group Goals
Create tools and resources for CTSA/CTR partner institutions to establish continuing education for CRPs using the interinstitutional RPN Workshops Model.
Develop a Pilot that establishes the CTSA/CTR partnerships to develop their own RPN Workshop Network(s).
Collect input and feedback from CTSA/CTR partnerships on their experience with development and implementation of the RPN Workshops Model.
Establish a virtual gathering of RPN Workshops Collaborating Network(s) to design a nationally coordinated framework with shared curricular architecture and delivery mechanisms, while still preserving institutional autonomy.
Reinforce Team Science principles and cross-disciplinary collaboration across CTSA/CTR partnerships through the RPN Workshops Model.
