K&T Visiting Scientists Group

Overview

The CTSA K & T Visiting Scientists Consortium Group (KTVS-CG) advances clinical and translational science by fostering knowledge exchange, professional development, and networking among TL1/T32 trainees and KL2/K12 scholars across CTSA hubs. Through coordinated virtual forums and events, the group connects visiting scientists nationwide and supports a vibrant, multi-institutional research community.

Building on the success of the TL1 Visiting Scientist Working Group and the KL2 Virtual Visiting Scholar Working Group, the KTVS-CG unifies proven programs that have enabled trainees and scholars to present research, receive expert feedback, and build cross-hub collaborations.

By consolidating these efforts into a single, sustainable structure, the KTVS-CG enhances consistency, expands opportunities for scientific visibility and mentorship, and strengthens a nationally connected training ecosystem.
