KL2 PI/Directors Group
Overview
The KL2 PI/Directors Group provides mentored career development for clinical investigators who have recently completed their professional training and are conducting translational and/or clinical research. The group exists to serve as an avenue for communication across the CTSA Program. Its goal is to create a community of individuals with similar goals and responsibilities with the intent to share experiences and best practices, providing an avenue to discuss pertinent topics and lend opportunities to address challenges collaboratively.

Group Goals
Foster a community of KL2 Program Directors for sharing best practices and facilitating discussions.
Identify the training needs of the next generation of translational science researchers and KL2 Program Directors.
Encourage networking and collaboration among KL2 Program Directors for mutually beneficial projects and outcome sharing.
Enhance communication with the CTSA Program Steering Committee and Workforce Development Domain Task Force to help inform the agenda for the Association of Clinical and Translational Science education initiatives committee.
